Hi everyone,

Hope you are all enjoying your holiday! The major tournament for our juniors is being held on the Gold Coast, 19th-21st October. If you have not yet told me, but your student is not available for part or all of this tournament, please contact me immediately on mjhol0@eq.edu.au as team lists must be sent to volleyball qld ASAP. As per previous correspondence, transport and accommodation are organised by the individual.

Unfortunately given we had 13 boys eligible for selection (which is too many for one team, and not enough for two) some of the boys were not selected for this tournament. I encourage all the boys (and girls) to keep training hard and set a goal for the next tournament. If you would like to question selections or receive feedback, please email me on mjhol0@eq.edu.au. The selection was based on the combination of ability, commitment to training, positions on court, adherence to Academy expectations and attitude displayed during training sessions. On top of this, the competitive nature of div one, substitution rules and potential court time played a role in how many were selected for both the male and female div one teams.
